Conversations with Lotinza Clark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lotinza Clark.

Hi Lotinza, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Lotinza Clark and i paint as Lotinzart .. I’ve been painting for several years now since about 2019 but I have always been interested in art since middle school…some of my earliest works were collages that i made just to decorate my apartment back in the early 1990’s, but i didnt start the canvas paintings until 2019 after a friend of mine gave me a bunch of art supplies he aquired on the streets of savannah around scad…at the end of every sememster students would throw out all kinds of supplies so they were just up for the grabbing ….
Im self taught and still learning as i go , i draw my inspiration from just things i see around me ..i try to weave energy and balance into a visual story..

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
its been pretty smooth i guess, ive had paintings in several gallery shows, Ive had several paintings featured on several seasons of Chicago PD on NBC which i am very proud of… also paintings featured on the 4400 on the CW network and most recently indie film which i cant mention as of now …I also have an etsy store with over 100 sales all of original paintings…so i cant really complain…..

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
just put your self out there ..you wont know unless you try…,,i learn something new everytime i go to an art show….
