I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think success/greatness or something worth while will never be a smooth journey ….ive worked so hard and invested so much in my craft to get to this point in my life where I still haven’t made it …yes I’ve had some success and done things I could never imagine like gettin over 3 million streams as independent artist ….i think some of my biggest struggles was finding my own lane …my own sound ….not following the trend but being myself and being a new sound to the game …special living. In Atlanta where everybody makes the same music almost …it hard to find your fan base or the support you need in an environment like that foreal where people only want to hear one sound and that’s trap…..I think another struggle is investing all this money with no real returns …as an artist your the last to get paid….its not like being a producer or a photographer where you get paid for your work instantly …it take years for an artist to finally reap the fruits of their labor …another struggle is finding the right team or support sometimes it hard to find support from the people you love …sometimes you think to yourself I know my music is good why aren’t they supporting or getting behind me but sometimes in life people don’t want to see you win fr they want you to stay on the level they’re in or a level they want you to stay at …I realize in life you got two people in your life the ones that want to see you win and the ones that want to help you win …I’m just thankful God gave me the power to create and bring my ideas to life and the confidence of a 100 men that I can do all things by myself as long I got God in my corner and that whoever is ment to part of my journey will
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m recording Artist in specialize in hip hop/r&b ….im just proud that I can make music freely and create my own sound and have my own style …I’m proud I was able to get 3 million streams independently……I’m the #1 streamed independent artist in Nawf Atlanta and that means a lot because I’ve sacrificed so much to get to this point …what set me apart from other is not following the trend and being my own person ….i would rather be alone on a path then to follow the masses …..I don’t have to talk about killing and stealing all damn day instead let make love again ..let’s dance again let have a good time again let’s show emotions again ….sometime being vulnerable isn’t a sign of weakness but a sign of strength
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite child hood memory has to be my first year playin baseball I think I was 11 and the whole season I never hit the ball and then the last game the last bat I finally hit the ball and my whole team went crazy even tho we lost the game …and I think that moment taught me to never quit and that every lost(lesson) gets you closer to a win
