Today we’d like to introduce you to Meraki Anoir.
Hi Meraki, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I began recording and releasing original music in 2018 while I was in college. During that time I also began participating in student led films and musical theatre to gain experience acting. Eventually in 2023 I began creating comedy content online which has now garnered millions of views on multiple platforms and grown my following tremendously.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The main struggle was mostly adjusting to adulthood and now having to balance taking care of adult responsibilities while still finding time and finances to dedicate to investing into my craft and all with little to no support. I’ve learned to just take my time and do as much as I can on my own in order to ease the burden of it all
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I feel like I’m known for being multi talented. I do music, acting, comedy, and content creation. Even within something like music I exist in multiple genres. I rap and I sing and it can bounce between pop, soulful R&B , more alternative R&B, more trap R&B more alternative edgy rap to more classic 90s style of rap. I just exist on a spectrum within multiple areas of my craft and I feel like there’s really no limit to my talent and where it can go to the point where even I am surprised sometimes at how far I’m able to push myself outside of any established boundaries and I feel that is what sets me apart.
