Conversations with Mony Pop

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mony Pop.

Hi Mony, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a creative side. Since a very young age, my mother had had me in the performing arts arena. From taking various different styles of dancing to competing in family dance-offs early on I grew a liking for performing. It wasn’t until my later teenage years that I gained the courage and dedication for music and performing. To now being invited to almost every club and venue you can think of in town and out of state.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been pretty smooth. I feel like it’s always mind over matter and that was my biggest obstacle — believing in myself and seeing how simple it is to win. Although music can be expensive at times, the passion I have for it keeps me invested (time and resource-wise).

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a songwriter, artist and influencer with an entrepreneurial background. I use my knowledge around money management and networking to educate my Fanbase to make wealthy decisions, and that is what I am proud of the most. My dedication to my supporters is what sets me apart. I have a YouTube channel where I bring my support in on my journey as an up-and-coming artist they get to see me get ready for shows and all that goes on behind the scenes, and that’s what I feel sets me apart. A lot of artists aren’t showing the daily grind, just the success. People don’t know how much it truly takes.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
I learned how important it is to have a financial plan regardless of what you do for a living lol. During Covid is when I started investing and leveraging my social media to make income. That’s when I learned one of the most important lessons that multiple streams of income is a necessity. I learned a lot about financial literacy and even got mentors and that’s what I feel saved me for real.
