Conversations with Rachael Nichole

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachael Nichole.

Hi Rachael, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story began at just eight years old with a love for crafting and creating beauty from nothing. What looked like a simple childhood hobby was actually the foundation of purpose.

In 2009, I turned that passion into a business now known as FIE, Inc., providing graphic design, custom printing and large-format signage for individuals and entrepreneurs in my community. Around that same time, a church member gifted me a sewing machine, an act of kindness that changed the trajectory of my life. Teaching myself to sew planted the seed for what would become The Rachael Nichole Brand, officially launched in 2011, where I now create custom garments designed to celebrate confidence, individuality and bold self-expression.

My journey hasn’t just been about business, it’s been about faith, resilience and trusting GOD to multiply every gift placed in my hands. What started as a young girl creating has grown into a purpose-driven life of serving, inspiring, and building, and I’m still only at the beginning of what’s possible.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, my journey has included seasons of loss, uncertainty and rebuilding. One of the most defining moments was experiencing a major personal setback where I lost the majority of what I owned; but even in that, I never lost my faith, my creativity or my willingness to keep going.

Those challenges taught me resilience in a way success never could. I learned how to trust GOD in the unknown, how to create from very little and how to keep showing up even when the path wasn’t clear. Every obstacle became preparation, shaping not just the businesses I’ve built, but the woman I’ve become.

Today, I don’t see the struggles as setbacks, I see them as proof of GOD’s grace and restoration. They’re reminders that purpose isn’t canceled by hardship; sometimes it’s revealed through it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As an artist and creative entrepreneur, my work lives at the intersection of faith, fashion and purposeful design. I am the founder of FIE, Inc., where we provide graphic design, custom printing and large-format branding solutions that help individuals, families and businesses bring their visions to life. I’m also the designer behind The Rachael Nichole Brand, which specializes in custom-made garments created to celebrate confidence, individuality and bold self-expression.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the work I produce, it’s the impact behind it. From memorial pieces that honor loved ones to garments that make someone feel seen and beautiful, every creation carries intention and meaning. What sets me apart is my ability to merge creativity with compassion and faith, ensuring that what I design doesn’t just look good, but feels significant. My journey as a creative has never been only about art, it’s about using my gifts to serve, inspire and remind people of their worth.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was bold, expressive, driven and never afraid to stand up for myself or for others. I naturally carried a humanitarian heart and cared deeply about people, but I also loved to laugh and make others laugh. I was definitely the comedian in many rooms.

Creatively, I was always drawn to making things with my hands and turning simple ideas into something meaningful. Crafting and design became early outlets for my imagination and emotion, and even then, creating felt like purpose.

Looking back, the same qualities that define me today were already there: boldness, compassion, faith, creativity and a deep desire to uplift others. I was simply a young girl learning how to use her voice and her gifts and that foundation shaped the woman and creative I’ve become.
