Hi Reenu, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My crafts journey started right when COVID hit as a way to keep myself busy with being in lockdown. I started by making t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, etc. for family and slowly expanded to selling items through word of mouth. Lasering is something that I always have wanted to do and after a lot of research, I decided to invest in a laser machine in 2021. Today, I offer personalized lasered gifts such as boards, keychains, coloring kits, ornaments and more! One of the best parts of lasering is working with clients on custom orders to help bring their vision to life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being a mom to a wonderful 8-month-old boy and working in the IT industry, having enough time has been one of the biggest struggles. I am a one-woman operation who does marketing, social media posts, production of products and more myself! Nonetheless, crafting/lasering is something I enjoy and can spend hours doing. If only we had more than 24 hours in a day to do it all!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in corporate america in the healthcare IT field. I don’t ever see myself giving up my professional career as it is also something I enjoy doing.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I like to believe I am a very determined person. When I set my mind to do it, I will do everything in my power to succeed and I do not like giving up. Whether that is taking on a custom order that I have not ventured out to or creating new/unique gift ideas.
