Conversations with Sasha Gomez

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Gomez.

Sasha Gomez

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

My story begins with music. From the moment I stepped behind a microphone, I knew it was my purpose. I trained under two incredible vocal coaches the legendary Betty Wright and Jimi James who taught me how to master my voice and pour emotion into every lyric.

As a recording artist, I write, record, engineer, and mix all of my own music turning my vision into sound. I started remaking songs doing my own covers which landed me on Ellen Degeneres website. I’m the voice you hear speaking on Trey Songz’s Passion, Pain & Pleasure album, and I also did a song with Trey called “Whatever You Want.” Later, I collaborated with Yung Joc on “Come to Me,” and I’ve worked with other talented artists as well and have been on tv shows, several films and also in music videos, building a name for myself in the music & modeling industry.

Alongside music, I’ve built my presence in modeling and being an influencer. I’ve worked with major brands like SHEIN and Walmart, NYX Cosmetics, Sacheu Beauty, Ulta Beauty, and more, while also doing authentic reviews for restaurants and businesses big and small. I’ve continued expanding my platform as a TikTok influencer, where I do TikTok shop reviews and post up modeling content and reviews. I just recently got signed to a TikTok agency.

Why I’ve always been called “The Butterfly”
Since I was a child, butterflies have always been a sign to me that God is present. Over time, they became even more personal, a symbol that also represents my daughter, Annaliyah, whom I lost in August of 2016. Through that pain, I found transformation. The butterfly reminds me that even in loss, there is beauty, growth, and purpose. It represents faith, resilience, and helping others rise after their own storms.

Being called The Butterfly isn’t just a name it’s a reflection of my journey: transforming through pain, spreading light, and inspiring others to believe they can fly again, too

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life has had its ups and downs for sure but through it all I knew God had me no matter what.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a music artist, model, and digital influencer who loves creating with purpose. I specialize in blending beauty, authenticity, and storytelling across everything I do whether it’s music, fashion, or brand collaborations.

I’m known for my genuine energy and the way I connect with people through real moments. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come by staying true to myself and continuing to inspire others through my journey.

What sets me apart is my heart , I lead with authenticity and faith. The butterfly is my symbol of growth and transformation, reminding me of God’s presence and my daughter’s light in everything I create.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Believe in yourself always.

I wish I knew that not everyone will see your vision right away and that’s okay. What matters most is believing in yourself, staying consistent, and trusting God’s timing. I’ve learned that every setback or delay is just part of the preparation for something bigger.
