Hi Shay , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Tough Timez Gear evolved from attending community college and hearing a classmate repeat. The words tough Timez, in addition to hearing those words constantly. I was compelled to write motivational quotes on a daily basis. One day it all, just clicked in my mind to combine the name I kept hearing and the words I was writing therefore after careful consideration .I decided to start a clothing brand called Tough Timez Gear and .The concept was to use all clothing articles to spread ,Truth, motivation ,and inspiration. The Tough Timez Gear Brand has been in existence for over two decades but. Every three years the brand is being reinvented so that it’s constantly evolving into what it is today . which is a Streetwear brand that is reality driven for reality living.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The process of building Tough Timez Gear has not been easy .Which has been based on the fact we’re limited with capital and personal but that hasn’t stopped. The constant effort put forth to keep Tough Timez Gear alive
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I currently work a full time job in the telecommunications industry. Primarily to fund Tough Timez Gear .It’s a sales job that enables me to sharpen my communication skills and. It provides me with the experience, I need to deal with all types of people from all walks of life .Which is necessary in any business you run .
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I was born with multiple personalities therefore .I am able to adapt to various types of people using different versions of my personality.
