Today we’d like to introduce you to Sherri Hill.
Sherri , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a child I was always fascinated intrigued and drawn to the entertainment industry as a child I remember my family we growing up I had several siblings and we would have makeshift talent shows and movies that we would design at home at the early age of 12 I started modeling and was offered the opportunity to travel with ebony Fashion Fair at the age of 18 due to the fear of my mom and the entertainment industry that dream quickly became a nightmare I then entered into college at Oklahoma State University and pursuit of a degree in computer science obviously computers or the science of them meant nothing to me and did not move me I quickly left college and got married moved to London England where I began to pursue my career in modeling all over again I began to use my voice as a singer and then entered into the entertainment world as a manager from there I’m successfully managed latavia Robinson from destiny’s child and Farrah Abrams from MTV team moms and many many more the list of celebrities I work with goes on and on today I am the owner of a celebrity in public figure Consulting agency a online magazine publication call Honey boss magazine I am also the owner of we make the hits a production hub where we make productions from start to finish
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not along my road I’ve experienced it all the ups and downs in the turnarounds from being extremely wealthy to extremely poor and homeless I’ve experienced it all the one thing I’ve learned is that when something is worth having it will take you through but my journey has been amazing and I wouldn’t change anything at all but have I been through some stuff absolutely
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My magazine I think is probably my greatest accomplishment to date I started it out of passion never expected it to give me any type of money fame or notoriety but it has given me all of the above today we have covered major events like the BET hip Hop Awards Emmy Awards you name it we’ve been there. We make the hits now has six or seven major productions under our belt which will all be hitting streaming TV networks coming in 2026 the agency is doing a great job we are the representatives of the 2025 she is global wars we’ve been chosen to represent several TV shows and series so life is good for us now and we’ve got lots of heavy plans for 2026
How do you think about happiness?
Ah it’s the simple things that make me happy I no longer I’m in the pursuit of happiness I’ve learned that it is a journey and not a destination happiness to me is spending time with my grandkids and my son and also just being able to just sit back breathe enjoy nature and enjoy the moment living in the now and looking for the blessings in every situation will lead you to happiness happiness is the state of mind that we choose to be in in a on a daily basis we either choose to be happy sad or depressed a 90% of my life I choose to be happy I choose not to stress out over things that I have no control over and try to learn how to be patient because denial does not mean delay does not mean denial so I’m learning to be patient and enjoy the simpler in life peace is one of the things that I do not sacrifice if anything comes in and disturbs my peace then it has become too expensive of a commodity for my life and it must go
