Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonali.
Hi Sonali, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Sonali Nandwani, a creative entrepreneur and storyteller. I founded Golden Soul Era in 2019, designing sculptural, statement jewelry that blends bold artistry with deep cultural roots. My background in fashion marketing, advertising, and jewelry design, combined with my experience as a Creative Director and later at Google and Spotify…. set the stage… but it was my ADHD and drive for authenticity that truly fueled my journey.
Golden Soul Era isn’t just a brand, it’s an expression of empowerment. I design each piece myself, and our drop has grown from local pop-ups in cities like Atlanta and Miami to international showcases in Panama and Mexico . What I’m most proud of is how customers describe the experience: feeling seen, stronger, and aligned when they wear the pieces. That’s the soul of what I do.
Parallel to Golden Soul Era, I’ve built a thriving UGC and content-creation business. I collaborate with brands across wellness, beauty, fashion, and travel … crafting authentic, short-form storytelling that connects emotionally and performs strategically.
To me, it’s not about pretty visuals alone; it’s about souls meeting strategy, merging marketing insight, design sensibility, and ADHD born creativity into content that resonates and converts.
What sets me apart is this fusion: I help people feel more seen. Through jewelry, it’s self-expression and identity. Through content, it’s authentic connection with audiences. Through creative direction and the marketing/corporate world is building relationships, knowing the purpose behind everyone I work with, and the actions to hit to help others hit their goals realistically, and timely. And through all of it, I bring intentionality, craftsmanship, and emotional depth.
Today, I also host Spark in the Spiral, a podcast exploring ADHD creativity, one with intention, vulnerability, and heart. I’m proud to have built everything from the ground up, aka: as a neurodivergent founder and creator, not in spite of ADHD, but because of it. My message is simple: authenticity fuels creativity and community and that’s what I’m building, every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road but it’s been deeply transformative. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 8 years old, and for most of my life, I thought that meant I was broken or needed fixing. In school and even in my early career, I struggled with masking and burnout just to keep up in environments that didn’t understand neurodivergence.
When I worked as a Campaign Manager and Creative Director for other brands, I was often the one connecting the dots between ideas, audiences, and culture but I also faced a lot of pressure to do things the “traditional” way. There was a moment during a national launch campaign where I completely revamped a content strategy overnight based on my gut and fast-moving insights—and it ended up outperforming projections. That moment taught me that my brain isn’t broken it’s built differently, and that difference is my edge.
When I launched my own brand, I was still doing it all such as product design, storytelling, pop-ups, social media, fulfillment and there were definitely moments of overwhelm. But having lived both the corporate and entrepreneurial realities, I’ve learned to lean into the chaos and creativity that comes naturally to me.
ADHD has become my superpower like it helps me move fast, ideate with range, and deeply connect with people through storytelling. Every “struggle” has taught me something…how to advocate for myself, pace my energy, and trust my unconventional approach. It’s not always linear, but it’s mine, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I wear a lot of hats tbh, but they all orbit around one thing: powerful, story-driven connection. I work as a Creative Director and Digital Marketer for both brands I partner with and my own business, where I lead everything from social strategy to visual identity, email funnels, and influencer activations. I specialize in creating content and campaigns that don’t just “perform,” but actually resonate… whether that’s launching a pop-up event, crafting high-converting reels, or building brand communities from the ground up.
I’m also a content creator and UGC partner for brands in wellness, fashion, and lifestyle, offering a grounded yet scroll-stopping presence in front of the camera. I recently launched my podcast Spark in the Spiral, which celebrates neurodivergent creativity and offers honest conversations about what it really means to build something as a millennial “artrepreneur.”
As a side I am also a E-commerce specialist for a fashion boutique and I petsit on Rover because one day I am to invest in my own petsitting business in Latin America and Europe with an app system, as well as opening a boutique of my own with a future co-owner when I meet the right one to help me with these 2 goals of mine!
On top of that, I’ve made my first two personal investment (that no one knows about because I am not announcing it until February 2027 until I see it making sense to me)… but like, because I believe in backing the things I build with more than just time and talent.
What sets me apart is my ability to move fluidly between roles like strategy and storytelling, art and analytics and while staying deeply rooted in authenticity. I’ve learned how to use my neurodivergence as a lens for innovation. I don’t wait for permission to create… I just start. And that bias toward bold, intentional action is something I bring into every project I touch.
As for what I’m most proud of it’s the ability to bring my full self into my work. The same creative spark that made me feel “too much” in some rooms is now the very thing that makes my work magnetic. Also, proud I am moving to my dream country Spain, Barcelona in 2026!!!
