Today we’d like to introduce you to Terrance King.
Hi Terrance, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story actually is just beginning but to go back I started my acting journey doing background/extras work, I’ve done over 40 productions in background, to name a few, Disney Descendants 4, Fight Night, Jackpot, BMF and various Tyler Perry productions. I got my first speaking role in early 2025 on a project currently on Tubi called Back Home then followed up later in 2025 with Tears of A Hustler Season 3(also on Tubi and Amazon Prime) and Too Much Too Soon released on Tubi, January 6 2026. I also just wrapped a tv series called Outside These Four Walls which is coming soon. So I like to say my story has just begun. Stay tuned!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Honestly I feel in this industry if the road is smooth, just keep going you’ll reach your detour soon. You just have to be patient and not take things personally. You may audition for the same producer 3-4 times, different roles before you finally get that email or call back that you got a part. Cant just give up or say forget such and such they didn’t pick me. Just keep focusing on your craft and getting better.

I’m an actor.
What matters most to you?
The thing that matters most to me is my kids, my legacy. I’m willing to miss a lot of things but 1 thing I will not sacrifice is time with my children.
