Today we’d like to introduce you to Tha Big O
Hi Tha Big O, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a kid I always recorded everything me and my friends did. As I got older whenever I wanted something I could never afford it so I would figure out how to do it myself. I wanted a tattoo so I learned how to do it and I made money from it, I got into music and studio time was expensive so I got the equipment myself and I made money from it, and with the music I needed music videos so I bought a camera and filmed my own, This I also made money from but since it was something I was used to and enjoyed I stuck with it. I started recording music videos which lead to youtube and content creation. I dove deep into my content creation and with that my platforms grew and now we are here.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it has been a smooth road but I can’t say its been unexpectedly difficult. I knew things wouldn’t be a walk in the park and I knew I would have to overcome a lot. I have taken everything head on and so far it has worked out for me. The climb is slow but I enjoy the journey and I feel in the end it be well worth the struggles and hard times.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a content creator. I mostly indulge in film and cinematography. The thing that sets me apart is everything I film I try to make it as cinematic as possible. I look at everything as clips from a movie. That has become my trademark as people call it. I take my time on filming, editing, music choice, and composing. I take my time with my work and craft as though I am putting together a story for people to read.
What matters most to you?
The thing that matters the most to me is growth and progression. I feel as long as I am growing and making improvements to my craft I am going in the right direction. Every step forward is pushing me further from where I started.
