Today we’d like to introduce you to The Bash Brothers. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The Bash Brothers consist of group members Freaky Focus and OK Cloud who come from two separate backgrounds with completely different swags. That mesh together and formed a high-energy supergroup. Freaky focus is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He moved to Atl as an adolescent and began developing a sound that is a cross between southern crunk and northern storytelling. Freaky focus has always had a passion for music his rapping journey didn’t start until an unfortunate situation that led to him being imprisoned. While serving his time, he used music to vent and cope with the frustrations of being locked down once he was released, his music became his first priority and his escape to stay away from trouble. With his lyrics, you can hear the pain the anger and frustration that he has overcame through creating his music. As for OK Cloud, things were a little bit different howling from Tacoma, Washington and moving to Atlanta and a tender age of 12, he quickly discovered his love for music by using Music to cope with personal life experiences Cloud is known for rapping in school lunchrooms with his savvy swag and catchy punch lines. Coming up as a child, he also used his music As an escape goat to vent through his everyday struggles. While on the journey of perfecting his craft and being in the studio every weekday and night Cloud met freaky Focus and there was an instant match of energy and that is when the birth of the bash brothers began. We’re just getting started with this mosh pit experience………
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been easy because been an independent Artist comes with a lot of everyday struggles with the difficulties of getting people to believe in your music and believing in your dream in the content that you were putting out taken seriously. Being in the Music industry is a needle in the haystack right now so having the right song is very important and targeting the right audience. For us, we like to capitalize on our lyrics, our crowd participation our stage performance and the energy that we bring. There are so many struggles that come with an artist. With us both coming from being independent artist backgrounds and linking up and creating a show stopping group that targets engaging with the crowd and creating a mosh pit experience.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
The Bash Brothers are performers who specialize in urban rap artistry. We are most known for wild performances and show stopping performances were often referenced and compared to the Bash Brothers from the might ducks and that is something we embody with every performance. We are most proud of Newly Released seven song EP “Duck Sh!t” and our trending video “TikTok”. What sets us apart from others is our unique sound, high energy, our drive and our dedication into every lyric and every show we do. There are great performers out there but we believe what we exhibit is unmatched.
