Today we’d like to introduce you to Tashi Nicole.
Being raised in the Hair Capital of the World, it was almost destined for Tashi to find her spot in the Cosmetology Industry. While studying at Paul Mitchell, her interest for hair slowly turned into an interest in skin. In 2014, Tashi studied at the Aveda Institute where she fell deeper in love with skin and Ayurvedic practices. While attending Aveda, she not only mastered the art of facials but product ingredients and the effects on the skin/body – becoming a licensed Aesthetician in 2016. She went on to establish her own business Give Me Face, offering services to teens, men, and women. In 2017, she opened BeauteFien FaceBar.
She has additional certifications and education in Permanent cosmetics, hair removal, brow shaping artistry, non-traumatic chemical peels, anti-aging treatments, advanced exfoliation technique, and lash enhancements. Treating all skin types and conditions using totally organic skin care products.
As a certified Herbalist, Reiki Master, and Life Coach, Tashi has taken her passion for skin and uncovering inner beauty to a deeper level. Tashi not only provides organic skin services, but she educations on Womb Wellness, Mental Health, and Self-Care. Tashi also handcrafts herbs that will not only make you look beautiful but will heal you from the inside out!
Her passion for knowledge in the dynamic, ever-changing skincare/beauty industry ensures that she stays informed with the latest technologies and cutting edge ingredients in skincare, which she loves to share with her clients. Her goal is to ensure each client feels comfortable in their own skin.
Her approach is one that encompasses all of the technical knowledge with a relaxing and soothing touch. Because of her dedication and love for the beauty industry, she has gained the credibility and loyalty of all her clients. Tashi ensures each client has a customized experience specific to their needs that can be maintained outside of her presence. All of your skin/womb care needs can be met simply by putting your face/womb in Tashi’s hands.
Can you give our readers some background on your work?
I am considered a Holistic Esthetician/Herbalist/Womb Practitioner! I specialize in custom skin, herbal, and womb services. I do not believe in a one size fits all skin care or health regimen, so with that, I ensure each service or herb order is tailored to my client’s specific needs! My goal is to educate and encourage holistic total body care. I want people to feel comfortable using herbs and natural elements to maintain their health. I believe herbs are magical! It’s so amazing how many great health benefits are in each herb, and I want to share that with everyone I come in contact with! My personal testimony with herbs and natural skin care speaks for itself! I was able to heal myself of Bells Palsy in 15 days, because of that, I make it my duty to help as many people as I can to take control of their health naturally! Often times self-care/love is equated to the things we do for ourselves such as trips, cosmetic services, hanging with friends, etc., but for me, it’s deeper than that. It’s what you’re feeding yourself, what type of energy you’re around, what you talk about, what you entertain, what you watch, what you eat. Self-care means something totally different when you look at it from that perspective! We have the ability to live our absolute BEST lives. My goal is to ensure I not only talk the talk but walk the walk. By being a living example of the things, I promote I can better encourage others to do the same!
What would you recommend to an artist new to the city, or to art, in terms of meeting and connecting with other artists and creatives?
Honestly networking is the best thing I could recommend and not just with those in your same field but with EVERYONE! Each person you come in contact is a potential person that can change your life! There are also lots of great events always happening on EventBrite and local MeetUp groups! I’ve met some of the most amazing people in the most random places! Put yourself out there! Talk to people on IG, if someone likes a photo look at their page encourage them! The energy you put out is what you get in return. You’ll surprise yourself when you just go for it!!
What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I can be found on social media of course. But in addition to that, I do various events throughout Atlanta, one being a Pop-Up Shop Feb. 2, 2019, at Juiceez & Etc 10a-2p. I also do a homeless bag lunch event every month, details for that are always posted on my Instagram page @HealedByTashi, and I will be hosting two retreats this year as well! So please follow my social media as details start to become available!
