Conversations with Tiffanie Bacon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffanie Bacon.

Hi Tiffanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Decatur, Ga, and graduated from Dekalb County School System as a single mom. I experienced many struggles along the way, which has given me the ability to encourage women who have encountered the same.

In 2016, I fell in love with my occupation of working for a local municipality serving the needs of the community. This connection afforded me the opportunity to attend training that I never imagined. It added responsibilities of coordinating networking events for businesses, city-wide community events, and implementing programs to serve low-income families. I would it birthed more than I could hope for-My purpose. Later this year, I begin assisting with speaking at empowerment events, encouraging, mentoring and serving women. I never had a vision of actually becoming an entrepreneur but merely being of service with my story.

As some years passed and I ended up in a divorce, which left serve damage to my self-worth. I lost myself and struggled with my identity. However, God reminded me of who I am and gave me a vision. Since I struggled with abuse, lack of confidence and self-worth, mental health illness and walked through life discouraged. I wanted to serve and coach women from hopelessness to their healing. I’m here to support, encourage, and hold them accountable.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has certainly been a challenging road. Anyone that has said the life of entrepreneurship is easy has not told truth. It has its challenges every day.

As a new entrepreneur, I struggled with the distractions of uncertainty, being unproductive, and keeping up with the market trend. It seems to take a shift every minute…lol. Thankfully, as we add mentors and people who believe in us in our circle, it makes a tremendous difference.

Learning to balance this entrepreneurship lifestyle is certainly challenging as a single mom and full-time employee, all while pursuing other professional and personal development. But it is all worth it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in being of service. My mission is to help discouraged women over the bridge to healing, experiencing the love of God, and walking in freedom. My services include coaching, counseling, and mentoring women who have experienced traumatic events to receive their healing. I have over thirty years of walking through and out of traumatizing experiences, where my lessons learned will provide the women I serve with valuable strategies in their own experiences. My passion is to see all women healed, happy, and knowing and walking in who God has created them to be.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
There are so many individuals to be thankful for along this journey; I know for certain I would leave someone out. I am appreciative of them all, they most certainly know who there are and I would not be where I am without the gems, encouragement, love, and push that I receive. Most importantly, I thank God for never leaving or giving up on me!!!
