Hi Timira, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My book “Black Country Gal” is about my hometown called Moultrie. Moultrie is located in Georgia and it is three hours away from Atlanta. I wrote the book to tell the truth about the good outcomes and bad outcomes growing up in a small town or city. I am the second published author in my family. I published my book back in March. My Ebook is on Amazon and you can get the hardcopy off of Amazon. I also wrote in the book about small towns that are located on the outside of Atlanta. I am a young woman who is an entrepreneur. I sell and advertise my book on all my social media. I also have a successful social media which is my Instagram I have 23.2 K followers on Instagram which helps me sell my book. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has been a smooth road, my book has brought good criticism and a lot of support because I was brave enough to tell the truth about growing up, living in small towns and the city’. The struggle about it is the bad criticism from people not being happy I told the truth in my book about what it is like growing up in small city’s. No matter what the truth always needs to be told. I am truly proud of myself.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am mostly proud of being the second published author in my family. I am also proud to have my book being advertised on Amazon and published on Amazon. I am proud of being a young entrepreneur at the age of twenty-eight and having the beautiful experiences of entrepreneurship.
