Conversations with Tony Miller

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Miller.

Hi Tony, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Professional Wrestling Interviewer

I tell people I probably saw my first pro wrestling match the day I was brought home from the hospital. I always wanted to be involved but never trained or thought I’d be tough enough to do what these athletes do. It was after doing an impromptu interview with a former WCW wrestler Glacier that sparked the idea that interviewing wrestlers is something I’d like to try. That was 2019. Since then I’ve conducted over 600 interviews here in April 2025

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggles were building confidence at first. Going to a promotion and being allowed to back into a locker room to interview was very intimidating at first. So much so that I was so nervous at one of the earliest shows I covered that I sat in the car until I finally got the courage to go into the venue

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I love to share people’s stories. And when I started in 2019 there weren’t many people who were talking to the wrestlers that are working so hard to make it to the big time so I so an opportunity to not only do something different but to shine a spotlight on these wrestlers, some of whom are now signed to major promotions WWE AEW iMPACT Wrestling and the NWA.
I’ve always tried to make what I do standout from the rest. I treat my interviews with production value by brining multiple cameras, lighting, microphones, and including match footage in the final edited product.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
That there was a time when I stopped watching wrestling when the product on TV wasn’t for me. But it was after visiting a local show that was being put on by former WWE wrestler Gangrel that I went to that got me back into it
