Conversations with Trinity Jackson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity Jackson.

Hi Trinity, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out playing violin in elementary school, which sparked my lifelong love for music. That interest grew through video games, where I became fascinated by how sound and music shape emotion and immersion. Over time, I pursued both the technical and creative sides of audio, working across sound editorial and composition.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been finding consistent work and connecting with collaborators who share the same level of care and compassion for sound. Navigating different creative personalities and maintaining high standards while building relationships has been a learning process, but those challenges ultimately helped me grow and clarify the kind of projects and teams I want to be part of.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work in audio post-production across podcasts, audiobooks, film, and other linear content. What sets me apart is my attention to detail — whether I’m responsible for music or sound, I’m always thinking about how the two will mesh to support the story as a cohesive whole.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me by sharing a clear creative vision. I value thoughtful communication and collaborating with those who prioritize sound from the start, rather than leaving it to the last minute.
