Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Omidele, Katelyn Honore, Kennedy Honore.
Hi Whitney Omidele, Katelyn Honore, Kennedy Honore, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We’re three sisters and the founders of TriBarre Studio, united by a shared vision to bring a chic flair to studio fitness. Movement has always been part of our story, from gymnastics and competitive cheer to tennis, and we each discovered our love for barre at the same time. What began as a shared passion quickly grew into a dream of creating something of our own.
TriBarre Studio was designed to be more than just a workout space. It is a true third space for our members and the local community, a place that feels elevated, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. We strive to deliver an experience that mirrors the warmth and attentiveness of a boutique hotel, where every detail matters and every client feels genuinely cared for.
We are passionate about supporting local businesses and cultivating the intimate, community driven feel that makes boutique fitness so special. Born and raised in Louisiana, we are proud to now call Atlanta home and to build something meaningful in the city that has embraced us over the past few years.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. Coming from backgrounds in speech therapy and mental health, opening a fitness studio was a significant learning curve for us. While we’ve always had a deep passion for movement and wellness, building and operating a business in a new industry required us to quickly learn everything from operations and branding to staffing and client experience.
That said, our backgrounds have actually become one of our greatest strengths. Working in speech therapy and mental health gave us a strong foundation in empathy, communication, and creating supportive environments, which naturally translates into how we lead and how we care for our clients. We have each leaned into our individual strengths and intentionally divided our roles to best serve TriBarre Studio. By trusting each other and staying aligned in our vision, we’ve been able to grow through the challenges and build something we’re truly proud of.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are the founders of TriBarre Studio, a boutique barre studio focused on intentional, form driven workouts in a welcoming and elevated environment. We specialize in creating classes that challenge you physically while also making you feel supported and seen. What sets us apart is the experience. We want every client to walk in feeling welcomed and refreshed, and leave feeling strong, empowered, and accomplished. We are most proud of the community we’ve built, a space where people come for fitness but stay for the connection and sense of belonging.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
We see the fitness industry continuing to prioritize personalization, community, and overall wellbeing. Over the next 5–10 years, people will increasingly look for workouts that not only deliver results but also fit into their lifestyle and support mental and emotional health. Boutique studios that offer specialized, intentional classes and foster genuine connection will continue to grow.
