Today we’d like to introduce you to Ale’Jandra Breaux.
Hi Ale’Jandra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ale’B really started with the people closest to me — friends and family who saw something in what I naturally do every day: dressing up for events and switching handbags with every outfit. At first, I didn’t think much of it. I didn’t really see the bigger picture until I took a step back, listened, and actually thought about what they were saying.
I’ve always known I wanted to be my own boss and be part of the fashion industry, I just wasn’t sure exactly where I fit. Once the idea for Ale’B came to life, it felt like everything started aligning.
Getting to this point hasn’t been easy — it’s taken a lot of faith, prayer, consistency, and being open to learning from others. Every stage has been a lesson, and I’m still learning as I go. Ale’B isn’t just about handbags; it’s about confidence, growth, and walking in your purpose — fearlessly.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road, and I’ve learned quite a few lessons along the way. From the outside looking in, it might seem like all glitz and glam, but behind the scenes there are a lot of moving parts — and at times, it can be overwhelming.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced has been getting into certain deals that weren’t always the smartest choices at the time. But even in those moments, I took away valuable lessons that helped me learn what to say yes and no to moving forward. Another challenge has been finding a team that truly believes in me and in Ale’B — not settling or being shortchanged just because I’m a small business still growing.
I’m beyond thankful for the products that have sold out, but with that success comes new lessons too. One of them is managing production delays with my manufacturer. Sometimes the process takes longer than expected, and while that can be frustrating, I’ve learned not to rush. Quality is something I take pride in, and sometimes that extra time is necessary to make sure everything meets the standard Ale’B stands for.
The list of obstacles could go on, but at the end of the day, it’s all part of the process. Every challenge is a reminder to stay grounded, keep faith, and never let the hard parts break you — because that’s where the real growth happens.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Besides being the founder of ALE’B, I’m also a full-time single parent to a teenager and a pharmacy technician. I’ve been in the pharmacy field for about nine years now, and one thing any employer can tell you is that the work always gets done. I’m known for being a multitasker who takes initiative and steps into leadership roles to make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
What I’m most proud of is my growth. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with working a 9-to-5 — in fact, I believe those experiences helped shape my character, discipline, and drive. They built the foundation for how I show up in my professional life today.
What truly sets me apart is my determination and my openness to feedback. Hearing or seeing your mistakes pointed out isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary if you want to grow. I’ve learned to take criticism as motivation instead of discouragement. Once I set my mind on something, there’s no turning back — I’m all in.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned along my journey is to believe in myself — and to remember that every win, no matter how small, still matters.
I can be really hard on myself at times because I often feel like I should be doing more, or that I’m not doing enough to put myself and my brand out there. But it took the people closest to me to remind me that it’s okay to slow down, take a step back, and appreciate the moments as they come. To look at how far I’ve come, especially considering the personal challenges I’ve faced, and be proud of that growth.
If I don’t believe in myself, I can’t expect anyone else to. You’re only as big as you think you are — so think highly of yourself, stand firm in your vision, and keep showing up with confidence.
