Hi Amber, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Everybody knows me from being on tv, especially being in a lot of Tubi movies. I started off in theatre and worked my way into being mainstream. Director Karlton Clay was the first person who gave me the opportunity to showcase my skills and with that I took it and kept going. I’ve also took training classes with coach Vas Saranga at the Online Training Actor studio. If y’all need any training use my code “actressamber” for a discount. lol I studied my craft and networked. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No it hasn’t. This is a very tough industry and you just have to be focus. There are times I feel like I’m not focused or I procrastinate at times and I want to get out of that mindset and really push myself to be better at what I’m doing. I work full time, I’m a mother, entrepreneur, & also a girlfriend too. Those things can get in the way too but it’s all about staying focus and being patient with yourself. Letting God guide you and becoming the best you can be.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an entrepreneur. Im currently working on my jewelry line called “Ambers Royale Jewelry” which includes necklaces, bracelets, and hair pins. Most of the jewelry is African based so I think the brand name definitely fits. I’m also an executive producer. I have a film coming out called “Liquid” It’s been on standby because I’m trying to gear up the funds for it so I can have a good quality movie. It’s follows 4 females who are trying to get out of poverty but ends up getting into deep trouble. The film follows their day-to-day activities, their struggles, rival neighborhood gangs, and their families. A thriller film that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. It’s a short film but it’s going to be broken up into two parts. I’m a model. I do mostly runway and print. I’m also an actress who been in many movies, working on and off the camera and I’m now a host. I host parties and events. S/O to Keith Shariff Wilson for putting me on and allowing me to show up and show out. I’m a brand ambassador and a content creator. I’m still learning the whole content thing. My boyfriend (Gary Jackson Jr) from Montgomery, Al is big on content. We’re trying to get more into skits and stuff to boost our fan base.
What makes you happy?
My beautiful daughter Autumn Bell, my family, and my career makes me happy! God blessing me makes me happy. I feel great knowing my love ones especially my best friends who believes me are there for me.
