Today we’d like to introduce you to Analyce “Ana” Zapata.
Hi Analyce “Ana”, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started by a managing a friend who was a DJ. She needed help with some organization with her schedule and social media– So I offered to help her since I knew I was good at being organized. It was extremely out the blue and even then, I didn’t know I would want to make a career out of this until I had stopped helping and realized how much I missed doing it. I’ve had previous management experience with businesses, but nothing like this. I’ve always been interested in being “behind the booth” and just overseeing things and now it’s what I do every day!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest struggle I had to deal with was basically just getting people to trust me and my work. I feel like in any business where you’re selling a service, It can be hard to get clients to pay certain fees for things they could do themselves. (Especially in the beginning of my career)
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have a management and marketing business called AZAP MANAGEMENT. I’m a content creator, make websites and logos– and I run social media accounts. A lot of my clients would hire me on as a “Business Manager” and that basically is all the category’s in one, but sometimes people can hire me for only 1-2 task individually.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I’ve always been outgoing which was extremely shocking because I was homeschooled from my Freshmen Year of High school until I graduated. I honestly think it came from growing up fast and having to start work at such an early age. I was always interested in computers. My first job was working for cell phones. I did that for the longest!
