Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Winters.
Hi Angela, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been passionate about movement and wellness, and Pilates has had a huge personal impact on my health and mindset. I saw how transformative it could be. It improved my core strength, posture, and helped me feel my best. After years of going to classes at The Daily Pilates, I knew that I wanted to create a space where others could experience those same benefits.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road to opening up a studio has definitely come with some challenges. What I thought was a compromise with the size of the studio turned out to be one of my favorite things about it. I was originally looking for a larger space, but having a smaller setting allows for more personal connection and tailored instruction. The space feels warm, calming and inviting which I hope the clients feel too!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What began as a passion for movement and wellness grew into a dream realized. I discovered the transformative power of Pilates for strength, balance, and community. After years of working out at The Daily Pilates, I wanted to bring the calming, retreat like environment to the Vinings.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Opening a Pilates studio has been a good reminder how important it is to build community. Our studio has only been open for one week, but I’ve seen how connection transforms the experience. I think it’s so important to feel welcomed and I hope the community feels that way when they take classes at The Daily Pilates Vinings!
