Today we’d like to introduce you to Ann Lindsey.
Hi Ann, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
What started as a fun hobby at family dinners and friend gatherings quickly became something I couldn’t brush off. It began the way many good stories do—around a crowded table, in the warmth of people I love, with music playing too loud and endless laughter.
Every time I brought a small charcuterie spread—just something I’d thrown together for fun—people lit up. They’d hover over the table, snapping photos and asking, “Wait… you made this?” Before long, guests were offering to pay me to recreate the magic for their own events.
So I took a leap.
I began with simple individual boxes and charcuterie cups—tiny, portable works of art that let me practice my craft. Soon, I was building full boards… then grazing tables that stretched across rooms like edible landscapes. I realized I wasn’t just arranging food—I was creating experiences, building joy from simple ingredients, and turning gatherings into memories. I loved the magic of turning simple ingredients into something beautiful, something that made people pause and smile. Every board I made felt like a moment of connection, a way to bring people together.
But the real joy wasn’t in the food itself—it was in my clients. I loved seeing their excitement when I delivered each creation, the sparkle in their eyes as they took it all in. And the best feeling of all? Hearing that everything was eaten—every last bite—and that they’d told their friends and family, sending a wave of referrals my way. That kind of word-of-mouth love is the heartbeat of my business.
I pride myself on quality—on care, creativity, and experience. And every event, every board, every referral reminds me why I do this.
Over time, the parties grew larger, the ideas got bigger, and my confidence followed. What started as casual fun turned into a passion, and that passion grew into a business. Now, each board, box, and grazing table marks another step in a journey I never expected—but absolutely love.
And the best part? My business is still growing, one delicious creation at a time. A simple hobby has grown into a beautiful journey, one that’s still unfolding. And I can’t wait to see where it takes me next!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There were late nights, last-minute changes, and more than a few moments where I wondered what on earth I’d gotten myself into. The challenges showed up quickly—juggling time, learning the business side, and finding the confidence to charge what my work was worth. There were moments of frustration, unexpected mistakes, and plenty of trial and error. But those obstacles shaped me. They pushed me to grow, to adapt, and to build something stronger than I imagined.
I had to learn how to manage supplies, coordinate timelines, and stay calm when things didn’t go according to plan. Balancing creativity with business decisions was a challenge of its own. But every setback pushed me to get better, think faster, and trust myself a little more.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I create custom charcuterie boards, grazing tables, and curated food experiences designed to bring people together. This has become a full-time passion, and now I specialize in turning simple gatherings into something memorable—whether it’s an intimate date night board or a full-scale grazing table for a big celebration.
I’m known for combining bold flavors with eye-catching presentation. I love taking ordinary ingredients and arranging them in a way that feels warm, inviting, and a little unexpected. Every board is built with intention, from the textures and colors to the little details that make people pause before they dive in. None of my charcuterie setups are ever identical- which makes the experience truly special.
My clients know they’re receiving something personal and thoughtfully tailored.
What I’m most proud of is how personal this work has become. I get to be part of people’s milestones—birthdays, weddings, baby showers, anniversaries—and it means everything to create something that makes those moments feel special. Hearing that a board brought joy, sparked conversation, or made someone’s event feel “just right” is the best part of what I do.
What sets me apart is the balance of creativity and connection. I don’t just assemble food; I design experiences tailored to each person and occasion. I focus on quality, personalization, and the small touches that make my work feel thoughtful and handcrafted. It’s more than catering—it’s storytelling through food.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
There are lots of ways to connect and collaborate! I love working with anyone who’s looking to bring a little extra magic to their gatherings—whether that’s a custom charcuterie board, a full grazing table for a party, or a curated box for a special occasion. I also partner with brands, event planners, and creatives on collaborations that align with my style and values.
If you’re interested in working together, the easiest way is to reach out through my website or social media. We can chat about your vision, your event, or even just a fun idea you want to explore—I’m always excited to brainstorm and create something unique.
You can also support my work by sharing it with friends, following along on social media, ordering a board or booking a grazing setup for yourself or someone special. Every little bit helps me keep doing what I love and bringing joy (and deliciousness) to more tables.
