Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Matthie.
Anthony, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been cooking most of my life. Food is a passion within my family. I was in college at the time and I needed a part-time job. I started working in a BBQ restaurant in downtown Denver. That was the start of my passion finding me. After years of working in concept restaurants and fine dining, especially after the pandemic, I realized I needed to do my own thing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have faced many obstacles. Starting from learning how to run my business. Wearing multiple hats. Finding funding for my business. I literally started from the bottom. I have been fortunate enough to have some help along the way. But you get comfortable with the unknown.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I never try to limit myself. I wouldn’t say that I specialize in one style of food. I’m most proud of my growth. My growth in business and creativity. I feel what sets me apart from others is my attention to detail.
