Today we’d like to introduce you to Ari Rozario.
Hi Ari, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was young, I always had a sketchbook. It was something that I couldn’t be without. Over the years, my sketchbooks only began to pile. I thought, “there has to be something I can do with all these ideas.” I knew my curiosity went far beyond art class, but even I couldn’t see the bigger picture yet. As my vision grew, so did my canvas. When I sold my first piece of art, I was $100 short on my college tuition. That moment was like a chain reaction. I knew I had something.
I’m proud to say that I have continued to invest in myself and my craft over the years. The growth of the business is more than noticeable. I think my plans will set me apart from other artists and grasp the attention of those who have yet to discover my work.
Over the past few years, I’ve focused on growing my collection of art while cultivating brand marketing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, I wouldn’t say it has been a smooth road, but still a great accomplishment. With art itself, there are no “mistakes” in the creative process because someone still appreciates it. The learning curve is the business aspect because you learn about your customers and how to reach them. There’s trial and error in the area of business. The main thing is not to quit.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My art was included in an event at Republic Social House on Memorial Drive and gained several supporters. I soon began a partnership with Alonzo A. Crim High School & became a mentor there. I knew my talent would go beyond my expectations after concluding this partnership. I met some great individuals with Jazz Matters Inc & donated some artwork to my first auction!
I began focusing on brand marketing & organically connected with people who would be interested in what I had to show. I connected with a founder of an organization called the Three Piece Suit Foundation (TPSF). I agreed to do a live finger painting at their football game. We raised more than $18,000 for Georgia’s Pets for Vets.
Over the past few years, I’ve focused on growing my art collection while cultivating brand marketing.
How do you define success?
Success is the achievement of something you’ve been trying to do.
