Daily Inspiration: Meet Ava Stuck

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ava Stuck.

Hi Ava, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my business back in 2012. I went back into the workforce once I had my first child and then in 2022 decided I wanted to be more present with my 3 boys so I decided to hang up my hat as a preschool director of 10 years and focus more on my family, Baking has always been something I have a passion for an enjoy. About a year ago I decided I really wanted to focus on the art of floral buttercream. That was truly where my passion was and I wanted to share it with as many people as I could. I mean who wouldn’t be happy with a flower they can eat?

Back in December I Opened up my own Studio-the end of 2025. I was not sure what to expect-would people really come out to get a floral cupcake? Yes, they would and they did!
I currently use my studio for custom order pick ups, workshops, and to go cupcake boxes weekly!
It is in paper Mill Village-right off paper mill road and Johnson Ferry in Marietta.

Today I do 2-4 workshops a month-offering a cupcake bouquet class-very beginner friendly but so much fun! I started doing workshops back In August of 2025! They have become very popular-I use my studio as a place to do workshops and also float between a few venues in the area.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We moved to east cobb about a year and a half ago. I was worried about starting over and creating a new client base-we were in west cobb. It actually has done wonderfully and I have had a lot more opportunity than I expected. I am blown away at the support of this community and am so thankful.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I would have to say I am most proud of my floral cupcakes and cakes. They have come a long way! I love creating them and it shows in my work. I love hearing from my customers-many of them reach out to me after getting their order and I am always so honored to be a part of so many celebrations. Many of them also come back again and again.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see my florals being in more weddings- something I would love to break into over the next 5-10 years. I have done a few with florals and they always turn out so well! I also may expand my studio space if it continues to go well!
