Daily Inspiration: Meet Ben Baumrind

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ben Baumrind.

Hi Ben, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
About 4 years ago my wife opened her new dental office in the Lumberyards. 1 year after that we were lucky enough that the space next to her was not rented yet. I was able to move in, combine office space and start my own business. We have flourished, offering personalized care in a world dominated by large corporations.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
for the most part it has been pretty smooth. Learning our new EHR system, and getting the word out on our location was challenging, but we have hit a nice stride now.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a retina specialist however we do offer general eye exams as well as treatment for many different ocular conditions.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I have an internal drive to feel accomplished. I get energized by helping others which serves me well as an eye doctor.
