Hi BigDeuceFOF, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I go by BigDeuceFOF. I’m a rapper from Florence, South Carolina, and everything I’ve built came from the ground up. I started making music in 2023, just recording raw verses that reflected my life and what I’d seen around me — pain, hustle, ambition, and survival. I didn’t have a label backing me or a big team behind me — I had a vision and a voice, and I ran with it.

Over time, I sharpened my sound and started gaining traction with songs like “Act Upp,” “Ebola,” and “Racks.” What really separates me is that I’ve treated this like a business from day one — pushing 1,000+ blog articles, getting a Google Knowledge Panel, growing my SEO, building my brand FOF (Faith Over Fear), and creating a movement around my music. I’ve had to earn every fan, every stream, every placement.

Now I’m at the point where I know a viral moment is coming — whether it’s a song, a performance, or a video that catches fire — and when it does, everything I built will hit at once. I’m not here to chase trends. I’m here to leave a mark and build a legacy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road. I come from Florence, South Carolina — a place where opportunity is limited and you have to make your own way. I’ve dealt with a lot of real-life challenges: watching people I care about fall victim to the streets, dealing with financial pressure, and trying to stay focused when there’s so much working against you.

There were moments when I questioned if this music was really going to work. I didn’t have a team. I didn’t have label support. I had to learn everything from scratch — from marketing to production to promotion. I built my presence while still dealing with personal struggles, doubts, and responsibilities.

But I kept going. Every challenge just made me hungrier. I took every setback and used it as fuel to keep grinding. That mindset is what turned me into BigDeuceFOF — somebody who’s building something real, with or without a handout.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an independent rapper, creator, and business mind. I specialize in making raw, high-energy music that reflects real life — pain, hustle, survival, and ambition. I’m most known for my songs like “Act Upp,” “Ebola,” “Racks,” and “Mute,” which have been building momentum across streaming platforms and social media.

What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come without a label, manager, or major backing. I built my name from the ground up by staying consistent, moving smart, and treating my music like a business. Everything I’ve done is the result of hard work, vision, and faith.

What sets me apart is my mindset. I’m not just trying to drop music — I’m building a brand and a legacy. Most artists wait to be discovered. I’m making sure I can’t be ignored.
