Hi Bria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I officially started my journey as a travel agent in 2023, right after planning my own destination wedding in beautiful Jamaica. That experience was a turning point for me and the spark that lit a fire for what would become my passion and career.
Both of my parents are proud Jamaican descendants who moved to America in search of better opportunities. They met in New York, and the rest was history. They worked hard to give my siblings and me a great life, always reminding us, “You work to live, not live to work.” That mindset shaped who I am today.
Every year, my parents made it a priority to take us on an international vacation. Those trips exposed me to different cultures, breathtaking destinations, and unforgettable experiences. It was during those travels that I fell in love with exploring the world and discovered just how much I enjoyed the planning process itself.
As someone who is naturally detail-oriented and organized, I quickly became the go-to person in my family for planning vacations. Whether it was choosing the perfect resort, creating a custom itinerary, or coordinating logistics, I loved every part of it. When it came time to plan my own wedding with over 100 guests traveling internationally I managed everything from accommodations to the day-by-day schedule. That’s when it truly clicked: I could turn this passion into a business.
At the end of that year, I told my husband, “By January, I’m either investing in a business or becoming a travel agent.” And that’s exactly what I did.
Fast forward to today just three years later I’ve helped over 100 clients plan and enjoy their dream vacations. From luxury getaways to family reunions, I specialize in removing the stress from travel planning and making sure every detail runs smoothly.
In today’s busy world, most people don’t have the time to research, compare, and coordinate every piece of their trip. That’s where I come in. I take the pressure off and make travel easy, enjoyable, and unforgettable.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road but every challenge has helped me grow, both personally and professionally.
When I first started as a travel agent, one of the biggest struggles was building trust and visibility. I didn’t have a background in sales or marketing, so learning how to promote myself, attract clients, and turn inquiries into bookings took time and trial and error.
Another major challenge was balancing everything. I was newly married, juggling family responsibilities, and learning the ins and outs of running a business all at once. There were late nights, moments of doubt, and times when I wondered if I had taken on too much. But I kept reminding myself why I started: I truly love travel and helping others experience it.
The travel industry itself comes with its own set of unpredictable challenges from last-minute cancellations and flight changes to navigating new travel restrictions and client emergencies. But with every obstacle, I became more resourceful, patient, and prepared.
Looking back, those struggles shaped the businesswoman I am today. They taught me resilience, improved my problem-solving skills, and made every win that much more meaningful. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and even more excited for what’s ahead.

I’m a travel agent who specializes in curating unforgettable experiences, particularly for Caribbean getaways, destination weddings, group travel, and luxury vacations. Whether it’s a honeymoon in Jamaica, a family reunion in the Bahamas, or a group birthday trip to Mexico, I help clients plan every detail from start to finish so all they have to do is show up and enjoy.
I’m known for my attention to detail, my ability to listen to what clients really want, and the personal care I put into every trip. I don’t believe in “one size fits all” travel I take the time to understand each client’s style, preferences, and budget, and then craft something that feels tailor-made just for them.
One thing I’m most proud of is how many clients come back to me again and again, or refer their family and friends. That tells me I’m doing something right. I’ve helped over 100 people make their travel dreams a reality, and that number continues to grow.
What sets me apart is my background and passion. Travel isn’t just a business for me it’s in my roots. I grew up experiencing the Caribbean as more than just a vacation spot, and I bring that cultural understanding into my planning. Plus, I’ve personally traveled to many of the destinations I recommend, stayed in the resorts, and built strong relationships with trusted travel partners. That firsthand knowledge means my clients get honest guidance and insider tips they won’t find on Google.
Ultimately, I take the stress out of planning so my clients can focus on creating memories. I treat every trip like it’s my own and that level of care is what truly sets me apart.
