Daily Inspiration: Meet Brianna Marcus

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Marcus.

Hi Brianna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always had an eye for content creation before i was a teenager. I use to enjoy watching morning routines on Youtube by My Life As Ava who soon inspired me to start my first youtube channel with my sister Aniya. I could sit up and edit for hours without feeling bad lol. I soon started my own youtube channel where i showcase my day as a college student and advice on the hurdles of navigating through my twenties. With my faith in Jesus being extremely important to me i decided to inquire God on taking content creation seriously. It was June 2024 when God gave me the green light to go full force on Tiktok .For awhile i was lost with my content- stuck in 200 view jail and one comment from a family member or friend. I continued to seek God on my focus on Tiktok and he clearly told me that my responsibility is to help young women understand the importance of partnering with God when it comes to their content. After i begin to be intentional with serving and building a genuine connection with my audience i begin to see growth… not necessarily viral growth yet, but my God-given platform was being built. This year i saw my prayers become a reality. I had my first paid collaboration with Innisfree (under a 1k following) and worked with a number of other brands. Although it seemed like a slow burn for a while, as i write this i realize that this dream is bigger than me. Today i continue to having a serving attitude instead of a “money/brand opportunist attitude.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
October 2024 i quit my job to pursue this dream of being a full-time content creator. If i had any idea of the struggles i would run into during this journey of being unemployed I would have stayed at the job lol. Trying to be a full-time content creator but not receiving the full-time content creator income was extremely difficult. I really had to learn how to trust God – trust him with my purpose, trust him with my finances, trust him with my dream. I had no idea how i would pay any of my bills sometimes but God never failed to provide. I learned how to show up on camera when life wasn’t pretty or aesthetic. It also taught me what faith really was. Faith is believing even when your life and circumstance is speaking opposite to what God told you.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m currently a full-time content creator who attends GA State University, and i specialize in editing, faith-based videos, and just showcasing my life in my twenties while dropping the gems of wisdom i’m learning in this season of my life. I’m known for developing genuine connections with my audience while navigating the life of a college student. I’m most proud of my consistency throughout this year on social media. I believe me caring about the lives of people outside of the phone screen, likes, comments, follower count, or brand deals- is what set’s me apart.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
God is your best partner in any dream or goal you choose to pursue. You CAN NOT fail when you have God on your side.
