Today we’d like to introduce you to Brionna Young.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my Glueless wig company at the age of 19! When I started, I was basically homeless with no income at all. I barely had the funds to purchase hair products but I never gave up and kept pushing because I realize it was a passion true of mine. I really enjoyed having a God-given talent of being able to make Glueless wigs & make women feel beautiful. When I first started my brand, I did take a lot of Losses but I turned them in to Lessons it’s been many times where I wanted to give up on my brand but my boyfriend never allowed it. My #1 Supporter he always seen how passionate I was about the wigs and always pushed me to continue to strive even when we faced with tough times. I prayed and keep going bc I loved what I did so much & it kept me busy and my mind off things.
At the age of 21, we were living with friends for about three months and I remember praying to god while doing wigs asking god to take over one month later I got the news that we were approved for our first apartment. And at that moment I knew what’s for me is for me once we got settled into our first apartment that’s when everything started unfolding I began doing several pops up shops and it helped my business tremendously. I stayed consistent and was then able to fund all my business needs as far as getting in monthly inventory & supplies. I was doing 40+ wigs a month all by myself some days were long some days were hard but I pushed through and continued to serve my true purpose of life & passion for wigs fast forward I am now 24 I’ve been making wigs for five years & my name is ringing bells on multiple platforms, reaching millions of eyes in different states & flourishing more than ever all by the grace of god! I really hope me sharing my story inspires others to never give up and to keep pushing for what you want in life.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in making 100% Glueless wigs for all women. Even for women who suffer from Alopecia, cancer or any hair loss.
The wigs are completely Glueless no glue needed can take it on and off that’s what separates me from the others.
I’m most proud of myself for staying consistent & never giving up even through all my tough life challenges that I was faced withal such a young age.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I feel like being myself, being real raw and cut with my audience as well as staying consistent with posting my work on many platforms is what helped contribute to my success.
Also, I’m a hard worker & my customer service skills make others feel welcomed. I love to show and teach others to the post. I even started offering glueless classes and webinars on my website.
