Today we’d like to introduce you to Britt Harrison.
Hi Britt, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My career started early on in high school, hosting tea parties for little girls, sparking my love for hospitality. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with extraordinary individuals, engage in unforgettable events, and acquire invaluable insights. With a deep-rooted passion for florals and design, I bring creativity and meticulous attention to detail to my work. Today, I utilize my networking and business development skills to offer top-tier support while curating engaging and enjoyable events and experiences.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I genuinely believe that the path to success is far from linear; it’s more like a winding journey. My experiences, encompassing both failures and successes, have been instrumental in shaping the person I am today. I’m appreciative of all the challenges and obstacles I’ve faced along the way.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As the Director of Member Experience at the Buckhead Club, a division of Invited (formally known as Club Corp), I act as a “cruise director,” if you will, orchestrating connections and experiences for our members. My distinctive blend of people-focused support and a creative touch sets me apart. I’m proud to bring this unique approach to my work.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
In today’s landscape, there is an increasing desire for connection. Whether it be a lunch gathering, a casual happy hour, or even on the golf course, networking opportunities are everywhere. Looking ahead, I predict a growing demand for connections that are not only meaningful but also accompanied by enriching experiences. Business and city clubs are exceptionally well-placed to offer venues for both business development and networking, extending beyond the traditional confines of work and home. This emerging trend is one that I eagerly anticipate thriving and evolving.
