Today we’d like to introduce you to Candace Smith.
Hi Candace, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started out in roles in hospitality and retail that taught me how to manage details, communicate clearly, and really understand people’s needs. Over time, that grew into a passion for real estate, where I could combine those skills with strategy and problem solving. I’ve built my business step by step, focusing on learning the market, building trust, and creating smooth, successful experiences for my clients.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not entirely. The road hasn’t always been smooth. In the beginning, I faced challenges like building my client base, managing inconsistent income, and learning balance. Deals fell through, and setbacks happened, but those experiences taught me resilience and made me a stronger, more understanding Realtor.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I help people buy, sell, and invest in homes throughout the metro Atlanta area, with a focus on first-time buyers, investment properties, and new or newly renovated homes. What I’m most proud of are the relationships I’ve built and the trust my clients have in me. I truly care about helping them reach their goals and making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. My clients know I’m honest, dependable, and will always go the extra mile to make sure they’re taken care of.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see real estate getting smarter, faster, and a little more high-tech but still very much about people. Buyers want homes that actually fit their lives, not just look pretty in photos. We’re talking spaces where you can work, relax, and maybe hide from the kids for five minutes. Technology will keep making things easier with virtual tours and smarter tools, but nothing replaces real connection and good communication. Real estate is always changing, but that’s what keeps it exciting. I’m here for it!
