Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanel Mack.
Chanel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a New York native with big dreams, I’ve always desired to be a performer. And I find it humorously ironic that I got my big break here, in Atlanta.
My name is Chanel Mack, also known as the Bronx Bombshell, and I am an actress on the All Blk series Wicked City. The journey to Atlanta was definitely a long one but also very fulfilling.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been easy at all, however, every NO (to me) stood for Next Opportunity. With that mindset, I fought through every obstacle that came in my way.
With my health being the biggest obstacle I had to overcome, I willed myself out of a hospital bed and continue every day to build and strengthen my body while I grow my craft.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an actress, and I’m most notably known for my role in All Blk’s original series “Wicked City.” I’ve also been featured in the Netflix film “The harder they fall” and on Showtimes “Desus and Mero.”
My ambition is what sets me apart from others. Because I am passionate about my goal and my craft, I’m willing to fight for it.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
Please don’t tell my NYC friends, but Atlanta has the BEST FOOD! Everything from seafood, to soul food… I love eating my way through Atlanta.
I hate the traffic… but who loves traffic.
