Daily Inspiration: Meet Chassydi Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chassydi Jones.

Hi Chassydi , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My Story – The Board Room ATL

The Board Room ATL started from a place of fear that turned into faith. After working more than ten years on my 9-to-5, I began to see signs of uncertainty — layoffs, reorganizations, and reductions in force. I realized I needed a plan of my own in case I was next.

One day, I attended a birthday party and was completely inspired by the food setup. It was beautiful and creative and it reminded me of the charcuterie boards I often made for family and friends. That moment sparked something in me. Within a few weeks, I created my own simple display — and WALLA… magic!

From that spark, The Board Room ATL was born. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a business offering luxury charcuterie and fruit displays, and hands-on workshops. Today, it’s more than just boards, it’s about creating beautiful experiences that bring people together.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all. It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting a business while still working a full-time job was tough. There were times when I questioned if I was doing the right thing or if people would even like what I was creating. I had to learn so much on my own, from pricing and marketing to setup and presentation.

There were late nights, early mornings, and plenty of trial and errors. Sometimes things didn’t go as planned, boards would fall apart during transport, supplies wouldn’t arrive on time, or events would be slower or larger than expected. But even through the hard parts, I’ve learned to trust the process. The mistakes, the stress, they all pushed me to keep going. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real, and it’s mine.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I create luxury charcuterie and fruit displays, teach classes, and host intimate events at your desired location. What sets The Board Room ATL apart is the experience. The feeling you get the moment you walk in. It’s peaceful. It’s a whole vibe. There’s something about the freshness in the air and the attention to detail that makes people instantly relax and be in awe.

We’re known for our beautiful, exotic, international fruits, and organic, high-quality foods. Most of what you see on my boards comes straight from local farmers markets or small roadside stands. I love supporting local growers and keeping things as fresh and natural as possible. Many of our dips and specialty salads are homemade, and during certain times of the year, I even grow some of my own ingredients.

What I’m most proud of is the quality of what I serve. Everything is intentional, from the flavors to the presentation. That’s also why I never promise a set menu. My boards are built around what’s in season, what’s fresh, and what feels right in the moment. Every setup tells its own story.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is quality and connection. For me, it’s not just about putting food on a board, it’s about creating an experience that makes people stop, look, and feel something. People eat with their eyes first, so presentation is everything. Before anyone even starts to graze, I want them to take in the colors, textures, and details — because every element on that board was placed with intention.

It’s not only beautiful and edible, it’s a conversation starter. People often find themselves asking, “What’s this?” or “Where did that come from?” and that’s where the magic happens. I love educating others about the origins and benefits of different foods, especially the unique fruits and ingredients that many people have never tried before.

Quality matters to me because it represents who I am and what I stand for. I don’t cut corners, and I take pride in creating something that feels special. When someone experiences The Board Room ATL, I want them to feel the thought, the care, and the love that goes into every single detail.
