Cianah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my journey on social media simply sharing my life while attending college. What started as a creative outlet on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram slowly turned into something bigger as I built a community of people who resonated with my authenticity, aesthetic, and lifestyle. As my audience grew, I began leaning into the business side of content creation — partnering with brands, landing sponsorships, and building multiple income streams. That inspired me to launch my own digital products on Etsy, like flyers, eBook templates, and social media kits to help other creators and entrepreneurs show up professionally online. Now, I use my platform not just to entertain, but to empower others to turn their content into income. I’ve learned so much along the way and I’m still evolving — but I’m grateful for where I am and excited about what’s next.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — like most creative journeys, mine has had its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest struggles early on was consistency and staying motivated. I had a channel that reached over 50k subscribers, but it flopped because I wasn’t aligned with the content anymore. Starting over was tough, especially when I questioned if anyone would still watch or care. I’ve also had to learn how to balance creativity with business — negotiating brand deals, pricing my worth, and dealing with situations where I was underpaid or overlooked. It’s a lot to manage behind the scenes. Still, every challenge has pushed me to grow. I’ve learned how to pivot, adapt, and trust the process. And honestly, that resilience is a big part of why I’m here today.

I’m a content creator, digital product seller, and online entrepreneur. My work revolves around making meaningful connections with my audience by sharing my everyday life — from lifestyle vlogs, fashion hauls, and home decor transformations, to digital entrepreneurship tips and product reviews. I specialize in creating content that resonates with people who want to live authentically, take care of themselves, and build their own side hustles. What sets me apart is my genuine approach to content — I focus on building a community that feels like a safe space to learn, grow, and share. I also strive to be transparent with my audience about the challenges and successes of turning content creation into a full-time business. I’m not just here to entertain; I aim to inspire and help others monetize their creativity, too. I’m most proud of the fact that I’ve been able to turn something I’m passionate about into a sustainable career. The journey hasn’t been easy, but knowing that I’m helping others along the way makes all the hard work worthwhile.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Finding a mentor and building a network is all about being genuine and intentional. Start by being clear about what you want to learn and engaging with communities you’re already a part of, whether on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. Reach out authentically by explaining why you admire someone’s work and what you’re hoping to learn. Offer value first, whether it’s supporting their content or sharing feedback. Finally, be consistent and nurture relationships over time. Networking is about building meaningful connections, and investing in your own growth will naturally attract the right mentors and collaborators.
