Today we’d like to introduce you to Corina Vesce.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
graduated from SCAD with a major in Architecture and a minor in Interior Design. In 2022, I began working at an architectural firm, where I was later transferred to the interior design team because they needed someone bilingual. That’s when my journey in interior design truly began. I spent about a year and a half working in that role, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my passion for the field.
After that, I decided to move to another company to continue growing professionally and expanding my experience in interior design. Following a year of learning and development there, I joined my current firm, and I absolutely love it. I’ve learned so much, grown tremendously, and had the opportunity to work on amazing projects. The culture here is inspiring, and I’m genuinely excited to keep learning and growing in this field.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
hasn’t been a smooth road. I believe that every year and every change you make in your career and in your life comes with challenges. At first, you might feel like you’re struggling, but in the end, there’s always something positive that comes out of it, a lesson, growth, or a happy ending. My path hasn’t been easy; I’ve faced difficult situations and even experienced toxic work environments at times. Putting yourself out there, taking on projects of different scales, and balancing both architecture and interior design can be tough, especially when working with a wide range of clients. But through it all, every hardship and challenge I’ve faced has shaped me into who I am today and helped me grow, both personally and professionally.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
work in interior design, with a background in architecture that really shapes the way I approach every project. I specialize in creating spaces that are not only beautiful but functional and intentional, where every detail serves a purpose. I’m known for my ability to balance architectural precision with the warmth and personality that interior design brings.
What I’m most proud of is how much I’ve grown throughout my career. Each project has taught me something new, whether it’s about design, communication, or collaboration. I take pride in understanding clients’ needs and turning their vision into spaces that truly reflect who they are.
What sets me apart is my architectural foundation and my ability to see both the big picture and the small details, from the structural flow of a space down to the finishes and textures that make it feel complete. I’m also bilingual, which has allowed me to connect with a wider range of clients and teams, making the design process smoother and more inclusive.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My advice is to stay curious and open to learning from others. Don’t be afraid to reach out or start a conversation, sometimes the best mentorships form naturally. For me, surrounding myself with inspiring people and staying consistent has helped the most. When you show genuine passion, the right connections tend to follow
