Hi Cristina , thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Brazil and have always had a deep love for photography and art. However, I truly rediscovered my professional path here in Atlanta eight years ago. As a mother and someone who cherishes life’s beauty, my journey began with a simple desire — to document my daughter’s growth. What started as a few clicks with a semi-cropped camera soon turned into a passion for the art of light, contrast, and emotion. Today, I have the joy of working with families, capturing meaningful stories of love, resilience, celebration, and life’s most beautiful milestones.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not always, the road has had its challenges. Moving to a new country and starting over professionally was not easy. I had to adapt to a new culture, language, and way of doing business. There were times when I doubted myself and questioned if I was on the right path. Building a photography business from the ground up required patience, consistency, and faith especially in moments when work was slow or opportunities felt out of reach.

But every struggle shaped me and helped me grow stronger both as a person and as an artist. Today, I see how those challenges prepared me to connect more deeply with the people I photograph. Each session reminds me why I started: to capture genuine moments of love, hope, and beauty that reflect real life.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a family and lifestyle photographer based in Atlanta, and my work is all about capturing genuine emotion and connection. I specialize in natural light photography the kind that feels warm, timeless, and full of life. Whether it’s a family session, a maternity shoot, or a celebration, my goal is always to tell a story through authentic moments rather than posed perfection.

What I’m most proud of is being able to create images that truly reflect people’s hearts their love, their bond, and their journey. I believe photography should go beyond aesthetics; it shouldpreserve feelings and memories that people will cherish for a lifetime.

What sets me apart is the way I approach each session with sensitivity, creativity, and care. I take time to connect with my clients, make them feel comfortable, and bring out their natural expressions. I want every photo to feel effortless and real, as if time stood still for just a second to capture something truly meaningful.
