Hi Crystal, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started doing loc extension two years ago I started with a loc tool and pack of hair from the hair store. I watch videos and sit in my bed making locs. I stayed up nights working hard to build my brand. I put it on Facebook to see if I would get a hit and I did. I started off running a special to bring in clients three months later I look up and I was booked up for months. Months after that I started to get clients from all over the world for me to do their hair. I do loc extension, instant locs, a retwist locs I service men, women and kids. June the 11 I open up my very own shop where I do my clients hair from. It’s called Crystal’s loc extension factory plus more. I work 6 days a week 9am to 7pm. In two years I was able to be my own boss.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t I hit moments where I wanted to quit because of not being able to please everyone I had times where I would get no likes or shares on Facebook. But I kept going.
