Daily Inspiration: Meet Eden Victoria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eden Victoria.

Hi Eden, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Eden Victoria, a 25 y/o professional makeup artist originally from Barbados and now based in Atlanta. My journey in beauty started young, but I decided to take it seriously in 2015 when I completed professional training at REI Fashion Academy. I earned both a beginners certificate and an advanced makeup artistry certificate, which gave me a strong foundation in technique, hygiene, and working with different skin types and tones.

In 2017, I moved to Atlanta and had to start over in a completely new city. I was still in school at the time, and after finishing high school in 2019, I focused on rebuilding my clientele from the ground up. I worked at different makeup counters in the mall, which helped me sharpen my skills, connect with a wide range of clients, and understand what women in Atlanta really wanted from a glam experience.

Over the past 10 years, my passion grew into Victoria Luxe Beauty — a brand rooted in luxury, authenticity, and enhancing natural beauty. Today, I specialize in soft glam and bridal makeup, and I’m continuing to grow my business, travel for clients, and expand into my own cosmetic line starting with lip products.

My journey hasn’t been linear, but every chapter shaped the artist and entrepreneur I am today. And I’m only getting started.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road definitely hasn’t been smooth. When I moved from Barbados to Atlanta, I had to rebuild everything from scratch. I was young, still in high school, and trying to figure out how to navigate a new city while holding onto my passion for beauty. After graduating, I went straight into working makeup counters in the mall — long hours, low pay, and constantly having to prove myself in a space where nobody knew my training, my background, or how hard I had already worked to be taken seriously.

There were times when clients were inconsistent, money was tight, and self-doubt crept in. Even with professional certifications, it was easy to compare myself to other artists and wonder if there was really space for me in such a competitive industry. Growing a clientele in Atlanta is no small task — it took resilience, patience, and showing up even when things didn’t look promising.

But every challenge ended up building me. Brick by brick, the slow seasons, the setbacks, and the moments of doubt pushed me to sharpen my skills, elevate my brand, and stay ready for the opportunities I prayed for.

And one of those opportunities came recently — getting the chance to do makeup for Baddies on Zeus Network. That moment meant a lot to me because it felt like confirmation that the years of grinding in silence, rebuilding, and staying committed were worth it. It reminded me that even when the road isn’t smooth, the growth happening along the way is setting you up for your next level.

Those challenges shaped me into the artist I am today and made every win — big or small — feel that much more meaningful.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a makeup artist, my work is all about enhancing beauty while keeping the person underneath recognizable. I specialize in soft glam, luxury bridal looks, and camera-ready glam that photographs flawlessly without looking heavy. Over the years, I’ve built a reputation for creating skin-focused makeup — glowy, smooth, and natural-looking — with a signature touch that still feels elevated.

What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come. From professional training at REI Fashion Academy in Barbados, to starting over in Atlanta and rebuilding my entire clientele, to recently getting the opportunity to work on Baddies for the Zeus Network — every stage of my journey pushed me creatively and professionally. Those moments remind me that my work speaks for itself and that staying consistent pays off.

What sets me apart is the experience I create. My brand, Victoria Luxe Beauty, is rooted in luxury, comfort, and professionalism. I don’t just do makeup — I make my clients feel seen, pampered, and confident. Whether it’s a bride on her big day, a model on set, or someone prepping for a special event, I bring a calm, detailed, and intentional energy to every face I touch.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to elevate beauty, honor individuality, and leave every client feeling like the best version of themselves.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something that most people don’t know about me is that I’m also an artist outside of makeup — I started my music career in 2022 and I currently have three singles out. My sound is a fusion of dancehall and R&B. What people usually don’t realize is that music has always been deeply rooted in me and my family. I grew up with parents who were heavily involved in the industry, so I saw a lot of the behind-the-scenes reality at a young age — the good and the parts that made me want to stay far away from it.

For years, I ran from music because I didn’t want to follow a path that felt overwhelming. But you can only run from something that’s in your blood for so long. Eventually it caught up with me in the best way. Once I stepped into the studio, everything clicked. I’ve developed an intoxicating passion for creating, being in the booth, and performing on stage. Since stepping into this world, I’ve even been able to collaborate with and share the stage with some of dancehall’s top artists — something younger me would’ve never believed.

Most people know me for beauty, but they’re always surprised to learn that music isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s a huge part of who I am and something I’m actively building alongside my career.
