Today we’d like to introduce you to Elle Sapphire.
Hi Elle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
Since I was in the fifth grade, I wanted to write a book that would change lives; I didn’t realize that I would have to walk through sexual assault multiple times to do this. I wrote the Amazon Bestselling book ‘How I Escaped the Prison of Rape: The Journey to Total Freedom,’ and it has helped countless women find themselves again. After realizing that so many women experienced sexual assault, I created a digital magazine titled, I AM QUEEN Magazine, which highlights the trials and successes of everyday women with the hope of inspiring others to live out their truth. I’m in the business of inspiration. My goal is to help each woman recognize the Queen within.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Heavens no! I’ve faced verbal attacks from both men and women because I chose to confront the issue of rape and molestation. Many individuals avoid discussing these topics due to society’s stigma surrounding women who have experienced such trauma. However, the only way to conquer anything is by exposing it to the light. By shedding light on this issue, I had to endure numerous challenges. But looking back, I wish I had someone like me to support me during those difficult times. That’s precisely why I feel compelled to be that supportive figure for others going through similar struggles.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am dedicated to empowering individuals, helping them nurture their voices, embrace their unique narratives, and transform their hardships into opportunities for growth. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Bible, I firmly believe that every life experience, whether positive or negative, can contribute significantly to one’s overall well-being. My role involves guiding people to understand their stories, extracting valuable lessons, and empowering them to share these insights through books, finding prosperity in the process.
We all have different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I align with Mike Todd’s insightful perspective: “Success shouldn’t be measured from win to win. Success should be measured from storm to storm.” I wholeheartedly resonate with this belief because it’s amidst life’s storms that our true character and purpose are revealed. For me, true success is rooted in service; it’s about the impact we make in the lives of others. The measure of my success is determined by the extent of my service. I continually ask myself: Who am I helping? Success, to me, is in the meaningful difference I can make in the lives of those I serve.
