Daily Inspiration: Meet Floyd Hope Jr.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Floyd Hope Jr.

Hi Floyd, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up I always felt my opinions, when it came to certain subjects were different from most. I felt it was a side that was never told, a certain view that people where scared to address. Around five years ago I started learning about podcasting and felt it was perfect for me to address certain topics and views. I named it Da Kikback for people who had the same opinions as I, to come together, chill, listen and enjoy some positive adult conversations about relationships, mental health, self-love and etc. It’s available for people to watch on Facebook and YouTube

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I believe growth is never a smooth path. Learning your field while investing in yourself can take a lot of patience. Having a vision but understanding it takes time to get there can be a struggle for most, you just have to stay the course and believe in yourself

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What I’m most proud of is that I never gave up on my brand. You have to stay consistent and innovative to survive. What I feel that sets me apart from others, is the originality. I don’t worry about what others are doing, I stay in my lane, also just being comfortable with who I am.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see podcasting being the media outlet to go to, it’ will become the new tv shows, radio shows that people will be listening to
