Daily Inspiration: Meet Jada Clark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jada Clark.

Hi Jada , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started off as someone who was insecure of my skin for most of my life. I didn’t have the confidence to share my art with the world; however, I always had a passion for creating as well as helping others. Throughout my life I struggled with many skin ailments. I tried every natural or trendy store bought product I could think of. I even went to dermatologists and used prescription medication which only worsened my symptoms or didn’t help at all. By the time I was 20 I was still struggling with my skin and was revisited by a skin condition called Tinea Versicolor. It spread all over my upper body and eventually my face. That was when I decided to create my own cure. I began studying different skin types and what triggers them. After over a year of studying through trial and error and experimenting on myself I perfected my formulas. I even invented my own product called “Skin Caviar”. Once I achieved beautiful healthy skin I wanted others who were struggling like I was to have a testimony of their own. I decided to start an LLC, build my own website, and share my crafts. Honestly putting myself out there was once something I never imagined I could do. It still ain’t easy but with each step I’m becoming more bold. I recently opened my first storefront in McDonough March 29th of this year and that’s one of the largest steps I’ve ever taken in putting myself out there so far. I believe the insecurity I felt for so long was divinely decided for this very reason. Guiding me to create and guiding me to my purpose.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’d say it’s been pretty smooth for the most part but definitely not easy. I had a few struggles part of them being high demand product production and doing it all alone. Also since it’s all freshly handmade it keeps me on my feet for many hours. At the same time though when I’m in my creative mode time feels like the illusion it is.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I currently own and operate a storefront for my business and I specialize in formulating, assessing skin conditions, identifying concerns among my customers, and recommending the best products based on their individual skin type. One thing I’m most proud of is my very own invention “Skin Caviar”. It was inspired by my love for luxury; I had a vision and was determined to make it come to life. I wanted to invent my own unique new product that wasn’t on the market and one that would be highly effective in healing eczema and dry skin conditions. Through trial and error I made it happen. What sets me apart from others is my originality and boldness to think and create outside the box. I didn’t want to make what I saw everyone else making and using. I wanted to bring something new to the table. I wanted to create a whole experience within a product and didn’t stop until I did.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I feel the most important characteristic to have would be my integrity and the most important quality is my raw passion/desire.
