Daily Inspiration: Meet Jasmine Deane

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Deane.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I originally started in Virginia Beach, Virginia right before Covid began. At the time, I was still working as a mental health professional but I loved making charcuterie boxes and grazing tables for my loved ones. As quarantine began, I would send care boxes to loved ones as way to show them I missed them. In 2020, I moved to Omaha, NE and decided to give my passbook my full-time energy and the rest is history. Within 1.5 years, The Good Life Charcuterie is now in Omaha, Charlotte, Atlanta, and Virginia Beach soon! We’ve been highlighted in Martha Stewart Magazine, Eating Well Magazine, and more!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I believe that The Good Life Charcuterie has been in the works for ten years. Although it seems as if it has grown exponentially in the last two years, I’ve had to overcome a lot. From imposter syndrome and not believing in myself to overcoming depression, it’s been a lot. I had to truly grow and believe in myself in order to have a thriving business, Especially during Covid. However I don’t regret a thing, I’ve learned a lot and I hope I inspire young women that they can do ANYTHING they imagine. I come from very humble beginnings and I thank god for my journey every single day.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I own and am the creative curator of the Good Life Charcuterie. We specialize in extravagant, high class, and farm to table Charcuterie/ Grazing Tables for weddings, corporate events, and events.

We’re known for our over the top catering and both quality food that ALWAYS blow our clients away. In most proud of the way, we create an experience that is a work of art. Our grazing tables are never the same, and that’s what makes them so special. We have clients that fly us out all of the country to experience what The Good Life Charcuterie offers and we don’t take lightly. We’re an entire experience!

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is the have the ability to adapt and pivot. As long as you maintain your brand, it’s necessary to malleable to the constant changes that crisis throws our way. I’ve learned to use all tools to keep our vision alive.
