Today we’d like to introduce you to Jesse Gordon.

Hi Jesse, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
So I’ve always been into jewelry and it’s been a part of me and my friend’s life. Growing up on the streets, Jewelry was always like a trophy for certain Street accomplishments. As I got older and moved into owning several other business, I would buy jewelry to celebrate and being a businessman I always felt ripped off. So naturally, I would do my research and found out the jewelry we was buying were liabilities and could easily become assets for our community. So I started doing my homework and found out the actual cost of things and what it took to make what we were buying. And a year and some change later, I done close to half a million in sales just by word of mouth and giving the best prices without most of quality and education on the type of asset your purchasing.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It’s hard because the people who have access to the raw materials needed don’t let you in at a good price. And it’s very expensive to start. So I’ve went through people ripping me off and a lot of backdooring to earn my business just to do the same to me. So without direct source to the materials and labor need for each job, it gets expensive. They have a tight community in the jewelry community in Atlanta and it’s a lot of competition so there is no helping it’s all bad mouthing and lies.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a jeweler. I create custom pieces also I sell regular everyday jewelry via my website. I specialize in get the most bang for your buck and sharing knowledge of what you’re buying. I’m most proud of the education I give to clients. And that’s what separates me from the other jewelers. I keep it real with customers even if you don’t buy from me.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
No lie, it’s been all trial and error the only person that has help me through this is God And Google 😂
