Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Marie Davis.
Jessica Marie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m Jessica Marie Davis, a 35 years old young woman with a passion for sewing/sowing through the lens of FASHION and my HANDS! At a very young age, my family often stated that I exuded the love for fashion, but little did they know it would be the very thing that shaped who I am today. While experiencing a very horrible trauma at a young age and not knowing how to move on in life, I took the gift GOD had planted into me and used it for my healing over my life. FASHION became my saving grace and my ministry! At the age of nine years old, while attending Middle School, my art teacher noticed the gift only my closest relatives knew of, this young girl has a very unique GIFT! My teacher felt it was necessary to inform my parents of a performance arts camp called 3-T Camp in Montgomery, AL for attending during the summer. While being accepted into this camp, it helped shape me even more because of the opportunities presented. Only one year after attending the camp people from all over the world were able to see my greatest gifts which landed me a full scholarship at the age of ten.
Though I was overly excited and blessed by what was given; my heart was still experiencing pain from the trauma I had experienced. I thought that pain would shape me for the worst part of me. But I prayed and cried for healing for I thought fashion was healing me but it merely was a way GOD was keeping me focused on the bigger picture, to HEAL NATIONS through my story. So I began to make a change, and that change was to take my gift, make money, to sow that money into my healing with therapy. Therapy after therapy, and then I saw a need for what I was longing for in my community. It didn’t have what I needed; for young girls/women and little boys to receive a safe space to speak of past/current traumas to find healing. I was so thankful for my grandmothers, Emma Cecelia Jackson and Ruth Mary Whitlock Davis who taught me how to sew/sow and pray while doing so! After 20+ years of struggling mentally, I stepped out on FAITH to plant a vision. GOD gave me Pink Parrot Luxe Bridal and Pink Parrot Luxe’ Tranquility Spa!
This story is remarkable because I had been believing GOD for a warehouse for having my bridal and a place to be able to house worshippers like me to attend a one-setting space to watch our wonderful Pastor Mike Todd. I prayed and fasted, and then when “CRAZY FAITH” series started, I believed GOD for this warehouse, and MY GOD MY GOD after choosing between two locations, I not only signed on one property but TWO! I GOT THE KEYS KEYS KEYS, only by the GRACE of GOD! It blew my mind, but as Pastor always said, it’s only crazy until it happens! IT HAPPENS, but to me, it was just GOD continuing to show his faithfulness. It shifted life and my look on how to ask and believe GOD for the impossible! So getting these places, I sowed all the money I had by myself to make these businesses the best for my community. To create any client’s dream wedding gown for their special day, and to also travel across the street for a tranquility luxury day spa! The resources made from each client allowed me to continue to grow and growing allowed me to sign on two additional properties eight months later of a vision GOD gave me for closing a much-needed gap in our community. I’m still mind-blown sometimes that I’m a walking miracle providing opportunities for my communities no matter your walk in life!
Then COVID hit, causing us to suffer like a lot of businesses did. I suffered health issues that caused my body to not perform how I was used to, trying to hold down all businesses by myself, and so I fell into depression just not knowing how to heal faster to not lose everything GOD had planted. GOD needed me to rest, really rest, business has been suffering still trying to pay rent and other working expenses. All of our businesses are struggling due to me trying to do it all alone, and we desperately need any financial assistance we can get. I’ve always been a person to deal with things alone, not because of pride, but not to bother anyone. However, I hear the words of my paternal grandmother talking about joining together as family! So, when GOD gave me peace to seek help from my family to continue this generational wealth for our family! We have seeked help from our state, and it’s sad that there is no help when we Small Businesses are the driving forces to the economic backbone of our communities. I believe it is very crucial that we work as one body of Christ to break down barriers to success and invest in equitable growth within our communities. I desperately wanted to aid in closing that gap, and by far it hasn’t been easy to work these ventures alone; but it has been very rewarding to see lives changed. We want to keep the marathon alive by helping more people in whatever their fight is in life to WIN! The devil won’t win this fight. These businesses are so much bigger than me, it’s about HEALING SO MANY LIVES. With a traumatic past that was hard to cope with, I struggled 20 + years for self-identity within myself.
After many years to get to this point of being a business owner, I knew that this journey was only just the beginning. I believed that no matter how long it took me, nor how many setbacks/obstacles I was faced with, it doesn’t matter where you are, you just have to find what drives you and keeps you PUSHing. My PUSH was to not see a little girl or boy not feel they could achieve their life’s dreams by any traumatic life story they experienced. We have to always remember DREAMS have no expiration date, and my dream was to HELP SAVE MANY LIVES by letting them know, I GOT YOU! A support system designed within my businesses to give opportunities but mainly have Godly conversations on building your FAITH and believing in GOD to work through anything you are facing. For me seven years ago, I was introduced to Michael Todd, and my life changed forever, MY GOD MY GOD, FOREVER! THIS MINISTRY is bigger than the surface of the forefront of the businesses. It’s about HEALING and opportunities. Now we need your help to keep these businesses thriving for our community. I would love to tell more of our story! I used to be scared to tell my story, but I know it’s needed NOW! Because the enemy has done everything to STOP me, but GOD! I’m a fighter through every storm, even this STORM. I used to wonder why me, but now I say why NOT me GOD! Use me, and he is using me even now. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth Road? Absolutely not. As we currently struggle to keep the marathon going for our communities to help lives continue to be healed by what we create is necessary!

Who AM I? I’m Jessica Marie Davis a 35 years old fashion mogul who has been sewing since the age of seven! It is so rewarding to see how GOD can take the works of my hands to plant them into this world for his glory. My life has brought many TEST(s) that have turned into my now TESTimonies to help so many people. My hands are gifted, and I use to would not praise myself, but I celebrate how GOD made me. I wanted to be not just a mogul but someone that can help nations because we are all one. We all need help in some kind of way, and why not it be me providing that help for anyone in need. We have to become that village that we need, and I’m creating that village one step at a time.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
YES! Don’t go off what society tells you, you should or shouldn’t do. GOD gave you the vision not anyone else so when you are seeking that next step asks GOD. What sets you apart is when you allow GOD to take the vision he gave you to be worked through you by him, NATIONS will then see the works of what GOD has placed through you the VESSEL! YOU GOT THIS! BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, even if no one else does! I’m always one call away if you need that continued push that you got this, sometimes we just need to know someone has our back when it gets hard, and continues to praise us throughout the process. People can oftentimes make life really hard but it isn’t we as people make it hard. Do the works of GOD, and watch the overflow!
