Daily Inspiration: Meet Jessica Soriano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Soriano.

Hi Jessica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m your DIY type of girl! I love making and creating things! So for my daughter’s birthday, I threw her a birthday party but you can’t have a party without a dessert table. So I made her a treat table. Everything was covered in chocolate and it was so delicious! Everyone loved it and that’s how my hobby started. I would make treats for my kids, nieces, and church. It slowly started to go from there.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey has been good so far! I can’t complain. It still feels surreal to know I turned my hobby into a business! I’ve had ups and downs but nothing drastic or significant. All my customers are always pleased with my work!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
They call me the Fresa Queen for a reason… I specialize in desserts for any type of event, but my business stands out for the chocolate-covered strawberries. They are made with lots of love and patience! You definitely need to try the most exquisite chocolate-covered strawberries ever!

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I don’t believe in luck… I believe in God’s perfect timing! I’ve always believed that everything and everyone has a purpose and it will be fulfilled if you allow him into your life. My business is run by faith and lots of chocolate.
