Daily Inspiration: Meet Justin Keith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Keith.

Hi Justin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started interviewing the homeless around December of 2021. I began this because I’ve always been into giving back, every chance I get, I give back. I’m the type to give my last to a stranger in need. I’d talk to these homeless people and realize they had real-life stories, and their advice was so sincere. They’re so looked over. I decided to document their stories and post them to make people aware that it’s not just as easy as “getting a job”. I started a nonprofit, and the donations have so far gotten four people off of the streets.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
No, it was EXTREMELY rough. I moved here from Little Rock, Arkansas in November of 2019. At first, I was working at Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead as a Service Advisor. I got the job at the age of 19, but what it took to get the job was extremely hard. When I first drove down here for my job interview, I had $200 to my name and a bubble on my tire that was ready to blow at any given second. I took a major risk. It worked out for me, and I got the job. Two years later, I took another risk of quitting my job that I was making over six figures at to pursue my social media career. It’s still scary to this day, I just really fear “falling off” or not being hot. That’s why I post so much and grind so hard. This is all I got. I don’t have any family to lean on in Atlanta, I’m here alone as a 22 years old.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I give back to the community. I’m known for my homeless interviews, as well as my social experiments. I with my social experiments, I go places and ask people for the smallest things, whether it be a dollar, a water bottle, etc. and see people’s reactions. Most people say no, but the person that says yes, I give them money or pay for their whole cart at the store. I’m most proud of how I come from nothing and now I’m at this point. I’m set apart from others because I post positivity and make content that nobody really thinks to make. As well, I don’t drink or smoke. So that makes me different to most people.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Absolutely, shout out to my team. Tredarean, Keaton, and Ozzy. They’re my closest friends, and they do everything behind the scenes. Setting up videos, cameramen, security, travel with me, you name it. They wake up at any time of the day for me just to record. I wouldn’t be here without them. Also, shoutout to my best friend, ChyTheGreatest. When I was broke traveling here for my job interviews, she let me stay at her place. I wouldn’t be here without her.
