Daily Inspiration: Meet Katrina Fuqua

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katrina Fuqua.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story started in 2017 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer with zero family history. I underwent radiation which didn’t really do much to shrink the tumor, which was located on my sphincter, which is the worst place for it to be and usually results in the total removal of your rectal permanently, which was not something I wanted to do. I reached out to a friend of a friend that had reversed his cancer naturally, and he gave me the regimen he has been doing for the last eight years that he has been cancer-free. I followed the protocol, which was very regimented. Within three months, the tumor was no longer visible and was no longer in my lymph nodes.

In 2019, I began having the same symptoms as before but with additional symptoms which were far more involved than the 1st time around. After going to several different doctors, I prayed and asked God to send the doctors that would heal my body because I knew it could be done. That started a spiritual journey that has taken over my life. My experiences with God are now so much more intense than I have ever experienced before. Along this journey, I have shared what I have learned and continue to learn about the mind, body connection, and how you have to become your own health advocate because nobody knows more about your body than you. I am also documenting the natural cancer therapies that I have discovered through the years. My life is now about God’s grace and mercy and encouraging people to see the lesson in everything.

During my sickest time, God laid it in my spirit to spread his Word on clothing which inspired me to start Look at God Lifestyle LLC, which is apparel-like with my designs of the scriptures that I have relied on everyday. I now have seven designs which are five scripture-based and 2 of which I call Godly Slang that are still based on God but in a different way for the millennial that may not want to wear Bible scriptures. I hope to inspire others through this brand to look to God in every situation in their lives. The clothing brand helps me to fund the natural cancer therapies that I receive because they aren’t covered by insurance. My purpose is now to spread God’s blessings because, without Him, I wouldn’t be here because I have lived through 2 situations that could have taken me out. My website is www.lookatgodlifestyle.com. My story is also unique because I have been the Brand Manager for the world-known Magic City, which still employs me working from home. I am also the Personal Assistant to the owner of the club, Michael Barney. He has several other businesses that I support.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been physically, emotionally and mentally a very hard battle but my faith has kept me strong. Without this battle, I would never have gotten to where I am spiritually because it allowed me to be isolated so that God could speak into me because He has been letting me know my whole life that I have been chosen by Him to bring the masses to Him so I’m ready for whatever He puts in front of me and now I’m the person that He always wanted me to be, but I was not open to receive it.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have been the Brand Manager for Magic City for ten years, and I have worked with production crews from New York, London, Australia, Paris and many more US companies. I have worked on projects for Future, Kevin Hart, Rick Ross, Nick Cannon, Bow Wow, TI and many more. I’m in charge of any and all filming projects for the club that has included movies, documentaries, reality TV, magazine and journalists projects. If you have seen Magic City in any form of media, I was the one that took on the project.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Life is what you make of it and never allow someone else to determine your future because only you and God can do that. Nothing can or will prosper without God’s grace and blessing. Every situation in your life has a lesson attached, so learn the lesson and share what you have learned to help others.
